The competitive factor is an interesting one. This is more an entry about questions than answers.
Is life meant to be viewed like a competition? When we were created was that the intention? Can we fulfil all that is within us without the competitive factor? Are we defined by what we win?
Is the competitive factor compatible with a faith based on losing? Lose yourself, lose your rights in order to gain true life exemplified by someone who was willing to lose in order to reconcile.
Is loving others and respecting them, looking for and encouraging the best from others really like a competition? Really?
