There is no greater affirmation than that of the Father to the Son.
To read it on the occasions it’s recorded is an incredibly moving experience. What’s more, to know that this affirmation is then extended to all those who believe in the Son and are reconciled with the Father is all the more amazing.
There are so many times we can miss it, ignore it, neglect it and forget it, but just as people rule you out and cut you off, the Father once more affirms you. Reminding you of who you are and whose you are and how He feels about you. It’s worth remembering that affirmation for all seasons of life.
