I like the videos of John Green. When I was wondering what to write about, I saw this video and was struck by just how little I know of the refugee issues.
The last comment about dehumanising refugees struck a chord about what the point of the good news should be about. We have dehumanised so many based on such a wide range of issues, that the good news acts as a banner to look at the Messiah heralding a rule where the fullness of humanity and its appreciation can be found.
Embracing that Kingdom ethic significantly affects how I consider the plight of the refugees.
