There is a flow to it as I see it.
2016 started off with an exploration through the book of Exodus. It was a journey that truly challenged me to the core as to my identity in Christ. The slave mentality, the need for deliverance, the importance of the presence, clear instructions and guidance, intimacy and intercession, a place for Him to be. All of that did not leave me alone and so it was important for me to follow that through in terms of what moves I make next in many areas of my life.
With that in mind, it flowed so well to finish February and then go into March looking at the most crucial ingredient needed to progress in life – wisdom. However clever I think I am, I know that it is the wisdom of God that has allowed me to progress. Being smart, being cute, having an idea here an there and being quick means little to nothing of worth if wisdom isn’t there. Likewise I know plenty of people who haven’t got the qualifications of academia who have applied godly wisdom to live in contentment while others around them – with those qualifications – have floundered.
Wisdom is key. So as has happened on a few occasions on this blog, it’s time to use March as a time to go through the book of Proverbs!
There are some other things brewing in terms of personal and vocational development where I’m concerned. I hope to be in a position to share that as things develop in the coming weeks and months.
Keep praying for me please that I may apply the wisdom He promises to liberally give. Thanks as ever for the time you take to read this blog.
For His Name’s Sake
Shalom
