I Am His: Statement of Reference

You couldn’t just write something that someone else wrote and pass it as your own. You had to make sure it was referenced properly. This idea, these words came from this author. This is the source.

When I say I am His, I make reference not just to whom I belong, I essentially say Jesus is my source. He is my reference point. I flow from Him. He defines and shapes who I am even through my failings and flaws. The earthen nature of the vessel only highlights the wonder and glory of the substance within it.

I come from my heavenly Father. I bear the hallmark of His character. So to refer to me must to some degree require reference to Him.

I Am His.

For His Name’s Sake
Shalom
