Conversation can be a beautiful thing.
I have found sometimes a good conversation can be better than a good meal. Just to share ideas, concerns, thoughts. It’s great.
In relating to God, some followers still underestimate the value of prayer as critical in the divine conversation. It’s either treated with neglect or disrespect. It’s like the thought if we go through a routine in saying stuff to thin air, that will suffice. If we bother saying anything at all.
I am grateful for those who challenge me again and again to appreciate prayer as a vital part of following Jesus, because it’s the means by which communication takes place. My life has been enriched by prayer and the example of prayerful lives around me.
For that I am grateful.
