It’s one of the most relieving truths to embrace – there is forgiveness.
Years of being burdened with the issues of what happened yesterday and the day before. Fear of rejection, crumbling inside and the thought of if I could ever be accepted and loved again.
Accepting His outstretched arms to embrace. Accepting His love that washes away all that divided us. Accepting all that still brings tears to the eyes, tears of the overwhelming love that the Saviour has for us. Love that forgives.
It’s a love that enables me to learn to forgive and express the release that I felt and continue to feel at the amazing love He shares in forgiveness.
For that I am grateful.
