Life can get so overwhelming that from day to day it can appear just a burden.
The mistakes of yesterday, those flaws that were displayed, the hurt caused. As well as problems that were not of your own making still to be resolved. Responsibilities in these circumstances just comes across so overbearing.
I am so glad for those occasions when the grace and mercy of God bursts through to say forgiveness and pardon are available. As well as that the power is there to make the most of the gift of the present. As a result conversations, ideas and actions of generosity and kindness have been possible. All because God opens eyes to grace-filled opportunities.
For that I am grateful.
