Thank God for … Failure

OK from the get go I am not one of those that subscribe to the view that life would be boring if we didn’t have failure, or mistakes or missteps.

I am looking forward to perfection. I long for it. I have seen and experienced the consequences of failing. The hurt and devastation caused by failing spurs me on to hope for the day where those won’t be experienced ever again.

What I am grateful for, however, is that there is something in the fail that exposes irrepressible hope. Hope of light. Hope of redemption. Hope of something greater indicating peace.

When viewed in the lens of God, even failure can have its purpose.

For that I am grateful.

For His Name’s Sake
Shalom
