From The Roots

Being serious about change includes recognising that dealing with the surface issues is an inadequate step.

Often advice given in quick and easy quotes affect the surface level. What they often fail to address are the underlying causes of the issues. It doesn’t always require an extended period of time to discover there are deeply rooted factors that survive the cutting of the surface issues and cause others to emerge in their place. Subtly at first, but soon it’s apparent that it has a grip on your life and trouble happens again.

The best step to take is to go to the root with the courage to cut it and kill it at the root so it won’t hinder necessary fruitful growth and flourishing of others.
