I enjoy my smartphone
I recognise that I use it for quite a lot of things as it’s really useful for the apps.
A friend remarked to me recently how dependent we in the privileged West have become on those apps. There must be an app for it somehow. App for shopping, app for banking, app for reading, app for watching, app for listening, app for writing – they even have an app for blogging!!
The requirement is simple. Yet in all that do we often miss the point that we are the applications for each other as we live with wisdom. Knowledge and understanding put in action appropriately is human application at its best.
Maybe we’re too distracted to notice. Maybe it’s not too late to realise again.
