I can’t remember when the spectre of asthma did not hover over me.
At it’s worst I have been hospitalised because of it. More often that not there are times in the year when breathing gets laboured and asthma attacks are triggered. The medical support refer to medication they recommend to keep it controlled.
So apparently what’s going on is that there are airways that get inflamed. That swells the passage and restricts the access to what the lungs require and is the trigger for the panic, breathlessness and distress experienced. All because the airways are inhibited and restricted.
Airways restricted means the body cannot function as it should.
Maybe it’s not just the physical body that is suffering from asthma.
