If something is wrong then it makes sense that there’s a desire to make it right. If something is bad, it’s reasonable to want to do something to address that situation if at all possible.
It would be disturbing then to come across a situation where people acknowledged something wrong, but did nothing about it at all. It would be disturbing if there was a chance to do good in a situation but the preference was to let the bad continue. That would be disturbing.
Thank God, then, for those who are aware of the disturbing things in families, institutions and communities and will not keep quiet. Who will not accept it because the rest maintain their silence.
Reading of some of the prophets in the Bible it’s interesting how many times God has to assure them in the task they are about to carry out. It’s clear He knows what it takes to highlight the matter when it’s disturbing.
Oh for the grace and strength to depend on Him and be His mouthpiece to disturb the disturbances and allow peace to reign.
