Hope.
Today I discovered a bit more how people can keep going when bad news hits.
I saw someone who had received news that a loved one had died and be able to begin processing it through God with joy. That essentially came through hope. That hope was based on Jesus Christ being the Resurrection and the Life and further promises that just as He overcame death and the grave. That gave this person hope under very sad circumstances.
I am grateful to God for witnessing this. and trust God that He will likewise grant me the grace to respond with such a focus on the hope I have even when things are not working out.
