Mission Time

There is something exhilarating and stimulating about being on a mission.

When my life was a routine of just doing things and getting cheap kicks out it, I can truly say life was very dull. I have discovered that having money and the stuff it buys works for some at some level, but overall the kicks are temporary and minimal.

The sense of mission of being a part of something far greater than ourselves that benefits humanity is truly something that gives me a fresh and exciting purpose for life.

I had the privilege of being a part of a session that explored elements of that. What I discovered was how alive people get when they talk about it and their role in it. I know that it’s not just a talking shop, it’s about people encouraged to join in the mission and do what needs to be done.

It reminded me of the purpose of living and I trust this will be rolled out to other people’s experiences.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
