Over the month of October I plan to post entries that offer some sort of list of ten on something. You might want to know why I’m doing that, so I thought there would be no better way to do that than to list ten reasons.
1. Ten is a good number to remember.
2. Ten Commandments seemed to work in a good book I read.
3. Top tens are fun.
4. It’s a good way to concisely gather information.
5. It’s a good way to limit the information you need to dispense.
6. It’s a good way to order information in a provocative … or sensible manner.
7. Lists of ten provides good grounds for conversation (or argument if you want).
8. All the best countdowns get interesting from ten down.
9. There’s a sense of completion when you think of ten.
10. List of tens in the tenth month seems to make a whole heap of sense.
