Training and teaching are subjects that hold a great deal of interest to me.
For years I sat under the teaching of someone whose method never changed in all the years I was under his tutelage. That was a fair number of years. When I left it was a huge eye opener to come across alternate styles of teaching and training. The benefits of the diversity of styles refreshed and enriched my learning experience.
Gaining greater knowledge and understanding from the various sources made me consider the fruit of encouraging that diversity of delivery styles in my own approach. I appreciate I am not going to be able to adapt to all the styles just as not all the styles are used to me. In slowly exploring and experimenting there is discovery and growth. Retaining the key value of the desire to see people grow and understand their role leaves plenty of room for innovation, setbacks and further success.
I don’t think that approach is strictly beneficial only to training and teaching.
For His Name’s Sake
