Different things motivate what I write about. I’m delighted to say joy is one of them.
It’s worth me recording at the moment what gives me tremendous joy. That is the state of my marriage.
My wife is a source of extreme joy to me. She is an amazing woman getting through all she gets through. Words like industrious only scratch the surface of the the investment of her whole being in the things that matter to her. That one of those things is growing in knowing God keeps me on my toes. That another of those things is the welfare of her family makes us blessed abundantly indeed.
We are acutely aware of the pressures and challenges that threaten the wellbeing of our relationship. We are not the perfect couple by any stretch of the imagination, but we have certainly made significant progress. That is in no small measure thanks to a growing love between us that continues to find depths to each other and appreciation for mutual support.
It’s not always easy being Christopher Dryden and it’s got to be harder being married to him – other than the jokes, obviously … and modesty. I am in no doubt of the love I have for my wife. I am in no doubt of the amazing love my wife has for me.
In a world of trouble and trials I’m grateful for the beautiful love of my life who walks with me through it.
