First things that spring to mind when intimacy is mentioned usually involves a man, a woman, cute nicknames, a bedroom, closed doors and the music of Barry White.
The prelude to that may involve a meal of some sort, but the main course usually doesn’t revolve around something needing a fork and knife.
It’s sad that many cannot think about intimacy without sexual connotations, because there’s so much more to Intimacy than that.
Arguably one of the most intimate episodes in Jesus’s life was when he and his disciples has their last meal before his arrest.
