Naïve.

The thinking is that I know it. I want to prove that I know it. In looking to prove it, what I actually prove is just how little I know.

Naïve.

If only they had paid attention to the advice given. If only they had stopped to consider the consequences of their actions. They knew better though, and so with great zeal they embarked on an endeavour where they thought they could be in control. Now with seemingly insurmountable debt and mental scars from ruined relationships, they are not sure if they will ever trust again.

Naïve.

This is not even an issue of age or experience. It’s an issue of godly wisdom. This can prevent falling into the traps of naïveté. Some hail the benefit of knowing it for themselves by experience, God suggests that there’s enough experience in scripture and history to prevent you having to learn things the hard way.

For His Name’s Sake
