I have found of late that I am rather fascinated with the Body of Christ.
This might be a bit like saying that I have found of late that I am rather fascinated by football. Which is like ‘duh, tell me something new’.
What I mean then, is that lately the issue of what the church, how it should operate, what are its key principles, etc. I have been pondering these things with reference to the gatherings in which I frequent from time to time.
I enjoy reading blogs that are similarly interested in the church by more mature, experienced writers about church.
One guy I’ve come across and grown all the more interested in is Subversive by Keith Giles. He is a brilliant writer, really challenging in the posts he writes, and most importantly evidently passionate about Christ and His Body.
If you want a good idea of where my thoughts are leaning, it would be well worth your while spending time to read Keith’s post on Seven Mistakes Every Church Should Avoid.
Good points put across – great reading and some things that I’d encourage believers to engage with seriously, scripturally and spiritually.
Thank you very much Keith.
