I am very grateful to God for journeying mercies.
From back in childhood, whenever we travelled in the car from location to the next, there was always gratitude for God allowing us to get to our desired destination. It was not always easy, but the mere fact that we got to where we going was proof enough of God’s ongoing journeying mercies.
This is a special week for me. It is a reflective one where I consider the journey of my life to date. Unlike most other milestones, this week will mark the completion of a significant point in the journey. In many ways it sees the end of one crucial part of the journey.
Acknowledging that, and in no way taking for the fragility of life and I am not guaranteed to see another day, I am saying thanks now to God for journeying mercies. Thanks for taking me through infancy and early childhood.
Thanks for taking me through the tortures of teenage angst and the young adulthood missteps. Thanks for getting me to begin to appreciate the importance of responsibilities, and the call to be fruitful.
Thanks dear God for journeying mercies.
For His Name’s Sake
Shalom
