Have I mentioned how much I love words? I love them. They are so cool.
I was listening to some guy using them in a speech. After he had finished the audience gave him a hearty standing ovation.
The problem was however, the words contained truths that called for action. It wasn’t just for analysis or admiration. Things would have to change in the light of them.
That’s the things with words sometimes. I hear it, I understand it and I know it. Now I am responsible for it. And there is One who knows about words who will hold me accountable for what I do with the words I have embraced.
All well and good giving a standinh ovation – the real challenge is how I now live.
Nice words – now what?
