Church: A Short Vision

There was a large glass plated edifice.  On it as written by man was the word ‘CHURCH’.

It had been there for many a year and over time little had happened to change it, for it was set by the people who had set it up.  It appeared to be the way things would be.

Then someone took a sledgehammer and smashed it from top to bottom.

Those who saw it for what it was noted that it was after all just a brittle glass edifice.  Though someone had written the word on it, this was  not the work of God, but the work of man.  Though man had accepted it, that did not mean it was something God had initiated and required, however long it had been stood in its place.

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
