I came across this video by the dude Alan Hirsch. By the way it’s also worth nabbing the book he wrote with his wife Untamed. I am still going through it presently and cannot recommend it highly enough. Great read – because it causes you to look to Jesus, read what He said and then hear what the Spirit is saying to you as part of the church and the changes you need to make.
Anyway.
I love this video because it reinforces what on earth we should mean when we proclaim Jesus is Lord. That statement is huge. That statement has life-changing consequences. To say it as a mantra sometimes means we forget its impact on every element of life. It is not a phrase to take lightly – and if we say it and mean it should make a difference not just to us but those around us too.
All the more reason to check again what it means and see where that takes us.
