Bletchley Lessons: The Miraculous and Mundane Are Important

There is a danger in expecting the miraculous every time. Likewise in believing the mundane is all there is.

Getting to Bletchley was a miracle. Some days in Bletchley appeared routine and mundane. Yet again however God proved to be just as present and important in both.

The ongoing life of faith is one about realising that God is as much in the middle with you as He was in the highs and lows.  Just because nothing spectacular appears to have taken place, does not lessen the reality of His presence.  That in itself should satisfy.  That in itself is sufficient.

So rather than just looking for the thrill of the miraculous, or morosely accepting the mundane and mediocre as all there is to life, there is something in just looking for God in all things.  That pursuit will have the greatest reward.

For His Name’s Sake
