Learning about teaching and different things, makes me aware that not everyone loves words. There are a variety of ways to communicate and take on board information – some people love the visual, some people love to listen to things, some prefer to learn on their own, some prefer to be in company. Most effective way evidently is to put whatever you’re learning into practice in some way.
In and amongst all that, the words are a bit of a loser. After all they have been kinda rammed down people’s throats through educational systems that have not always appreciated that not everyone loves learning English through reading a book, and another book and another book, etc.
I love words though. Love them. They for me are the catalyst to a whole world of life. I love the word written and what it evokes in my mind. I love the word spoken and the emotion and passion that is often associated with it. I love the fact that these are the foundations of the word lived out and that encourages others to find the words that build the narrative for their lives.
Thanks God for the Living Word bringing flesh to the written Word inspiring lives to be living words for their relationships, communities and their world.
For His Name’s Sake
