This is a beautiful song. I love it because it has Andrae Crouch who has been one of my favourites for years and years. It has Marvin Winans who I’ve also loved a long time.
The main reason why I love it though, is because the sentiments in it are so profound for church life. God speaks, we say ‘Amen’. It doesn’t just mean that though. If that was the case, then it would be a case of simply saying that.
The challenge for the church is to live out our agreement. Still, as long as our word is our bond, songs like this becomes all the more important.
