This song has a great deal of meaning to me. It is a song that says so much not so much about me – although there’s a lot of ‘me’ in it. It is what it has to say about the nature of God.
I love the fact that He really won’t leave me. He has proven to be faithful through my brief years on this planet, and that has included some seasons of rebellion. That He still loves, looks out for, rebukes, reproves and restores remains one of the big reasons why it just makes sense to live for Him. Kee expresses that superbly in this song.
