I was reminded recently of this very powerful video. I would strongly recommend you watching it twice. First time for impact and the second time to digest more of how sin manifests itself.
The issue with sin is that it can be very easy to get hung up with certain sings and not be aware even in highlighting certain sins how we sin in our attitude to highlight it! History shows how we get the out of kilter between dealing with sin lightly and dealing with sin heavily.
The issue becomes all the more apparent in a society that seeks to rationalise, marginalise and minimise the concept of sin in order to just deal with the ‘good things’. As church gathers how sensitive will we be to the very presence of sin and how will we tap into the character of God to expose it and root it out in a manner that is pleasing to God as a witness to the world? It’s a talking point.

As someone that has peeked over the veil between us and God, I will tell you that at the level of every man’s soul he is sinless. Sin is only used on this side of the veil. What sin means from the other side is man’s attachment to this world where everything is temporary. It is easy to get catght up in life’s wonderful sensations, but all that is doing is keeping us from giving more of our thoughts on the permenant/ God.
