I first heard this album when I was 17 and while I was busy working out this whole racial hatred business and the deal like the Civil Rights movement, this song came across my way and it was sad that I had to wait so long for a song from a gospel perspective to touch on the issue. No it’s not a great track of racial unity, but listen carefully to the lyrics and be as touched as I was at a situation that may have got less overt in recent years, but is still an issue for people who are not of the native Caucasian persuasion.

As an African American woman who moved from PA to GA, and from a multicultural church to a predominantly Caucasian one, I cannot adequately express how deeply it hurts to be treated as if I am somehow inferior BY FELLOW “CHRISTIANS” IN CHURCH!! People, do you really think Heaven will be segregated?!?!
