One of my favourite albums is Colorblind by John P. Kee. This is a good album to go to for reference to how Kee established himself as truly the Prince of Gospel music and he was able to do it on his own … OK with a little help from his friends. It’s a quality album worth celebrating 18 years on.
This opening track from the album is cool. Sure it’s of its time, but the beat and especially the lyrical content makes it worth listening to as well as Kee’s brilliant vocals.
