I was at a wedding today and I was delighted for the couple. Occasions like weddings get me all reflective.
God gives us expeeriences to learn from. Some mention that the real test of lessons learnt is in adversity. That is true. Yet I also think how we make the most of the good times.
Celebrating and exulting in God’s blessings in times of plenty and in times of happiness – such as weddings – leave pivotal experiences to learn from when it’s time to celebrate again.
Part of the deal of enjoying is learning from experience that a smile then can echo in a smile now which can bring a ray of light, hope and joy either in trying times or in good.
