Right – the title of this blog should have attracted and repelled certain punters, but I guess that’s the point. First up I’m not comfortable knowing that the church can be categorised on ethnic/skin colour tones, but I acknowledge it’s use as a descriptive term for sociological facts (i.e. there are groups of God-followers who are predominantly of a black skin colour as there are those who are predominantly white skin colour).
Moving on, the actual nature of this blog was to explore the role of women in church anyway, but when I did a search through YouTube I came across this video which touched on a thorny issue that I have seen others have a significant problem with. Obviously I’ve not had that problem, being a bloke and all, but that doesn’t mean I’m not affected by the issue. Surely anything that concerns my sisters should be a concern to me, just as anything that concerns my brothers is a concern to me.
Anyway, I came across the video. I watched it. I thought to myself hmmm … interesting. It’s a talking point.
