I remember first hearing this song around 20 years ago and thinking it was a song of joy and life and then when I explored the song further discovered that it indeed was a song worth rejoicing over as it not only reaffirmed my identity as a child of the King, but also the context in which I’m a part of a family that is illuminated by the presence of the Bridegroom shining through us. Great song then, great song now.
