As I Was Blogging …

Diversions are fine in their way.  I remember I used to associate myself closely with a dude whose method of conveying messages often required diversions.  Initially those around him were impatient with these diversions, but I quickly discovered there was as much to be gained from the apparent diversion as there was from the destination itself.

In any case, it is often the case that on these verbal diversions others can chip in and the diversion can become a full-blown amusement park in itself.  So to bring things back to the point the initial talked will take a deep breath and speak the following words – “As I was saying …”

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that there hasn’t been an original post on here for a while and this is because of certain diversions my life has taken over the last few months.  These were necessary diversions, these were hugely significant diversions with an impact that it’s not overstating it to describe as earth-shattering and life-changing for me.  The diversion wasn’t always pretty, indeed there were a fair few dark days.  Through all of this, God’s grace prevailed to allow me to see this new day in this new month.

You might have a lot of questions concerning the nature of the diversion.  You might have a few.  You might not be bothered.  Either way, I do hope in the fullness of time over blog entries scattered here and there that I’ll be able to relate some of the more important lessons learnt in the diversion.

For the time being,, however, here I be – back on the blog.  It’s good to be back, I tend to pick up a decent level of consistent and regular blogging as I had done from 2010 to the early parts of this year.  Writing is good for me and it is a means by which I’m able to express myself and what I experience God doing in my life in ways that other means might not deliver.

So for all the diversion, for the ups and downs, highs and lows, laughs and cries – here I be.  Now, as I was blogging …

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
