Talk and Walk

I maintain talk is not cheap.

There was a day above all days when seemingly every promise spoken was being challenged. The gas, the rent, the telecommunications, relationships – everything. They had promised quality service and they failed to deliver – again.

Times like that brings about that statement about the cheapness of talk. I can appreciate that. What I also appreciate is why words are so important. My wife currently can’t talk. She’s on a voice rest for two days following a minor exploratory operation.

For His Name’s Sake
