There are times when the gospel industry, hey when Christianity itself can appear somewhat … fake. You know what I mean? You’re expected to praise when they tell you to praise, you’re expected to have it altogether, you’re expected to accept what you hear about the sparkling materially enriched life you have as a Christian and that every problem can be solved if you just pray it through. While you’re carrying on hearing that message behind the scenes the story is somewhat different.
What I’ve enjoyed about some of the fellowship experiences I’ve had in the journey thus far is when all those masks have been dropped and we can get real – real with our frailties, real with our issues and real with our need for Jesus to fix us in these areas to walk right in the light of His sight. So in my travels in the YouTube world it was refreshing to come across Kirk Franklin taking time to touch on some of those real areas. Hope you have the time behind the hype and tripe of the show to get real in relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ to grow in the grace that covers and the knowledge that straightens our attitudes in Jesus Christ.
