Just enough time to share a word of thanksgiving to God for the birth of the second daughter of the Dryden Family Abigail Elizabeth Danielle.
Today she celebrated five years on the planet. Those years have not been easy for her and the last one in particular has seen her endure quite a lot. Through it all she has maintained a great attitude – very active, full of energy and an uncanny ability to bounce back as if nothing can stop her and the past really is over and new things can happen.
Five years has seen her go from the youngest to the middle child and she has not been deterred by her little sister – it’s brought out a lot more of the caring side of her. It’s great seeing her grow and develop more of her character. Today we were blessed to celebrate her big day in the company of friends and family and Abigail is gaining a fair few number of acolytes (yeah I went there, Abi’s Acolytes).
I pray to God that should her life be spared to see another year it will be one of ever greater blessings and opportunities for growth and expression of the great character that is Abigail Dryden.
