CD Songs: He Looked Beyond My Faults – Andrae Crouch

Oh so you thought I was over the Andrae thing.  You thought wrong – again.

It’s all good, because it is all good.  This Andrae deal is brilliant and when you hear his enthusiasm at the beginning of the track it makes me think about the energy of youth and the feeling you can do great exploits for God – conquer cities and nations with a passionate zeal to see peoples realise this glorious news of Jesus Christ.

This song captures that intention well with a message that a lot of people need to hear that when Jesus looks at us were He to consider us in all out faults then we wouldn’t have a chance.  Yet because He sees the need we have for salvation, restoration and sanctification, He meets the need in His broken flesh and shed blood and resurrected body giving new life for those of us (being all of us) that needs it.  Share this good news with those you know need it (starting with yourself of course).

For His Name’s Sake

Shalom
