The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, but the belly of the wicked suffers want. (Proverbs 13:25)
There is just no pleasing some people. They are never satisfied with what they and seem to be motivated by a need for more whilst never experiencing the fullness of what they have. These discontents miss a great wisdom that belongs to the righteous – that is the mentality of contentment with the knowledge of God’s provision.
So what’s it going to be today? Will it be the case of resting on God’s ongoing provision and discovering enough already to fill the stomach, or the never-quenching emptiness of those not mindful of God?
