From the agony of Gethsemane to the brutality of Calvary, came the victory of resurrection and as we come to the end of the journey through Matthew we come across the last words uttered by the Risen Saviour. I remember the first time I heard this little song by Fred Hammond and being blown away by the build up, power and yet simplicity of it.
Wherever I go, whatever I do – wherever you go, whatever you do as a follower of Christ He has promised His presence. When you consider that in the light of a world full of loneliness and alienation, this promise is among the most powerful words of assurance you can ever hope to receive.
