DMCD Songs: I Just Want To Be Where You Are

Love.

I’m not sure if we’re ever really able to fully express it and are grateful to those who can.  Those who write songs, those who play the music behind them and those who sing those songs help us to express stuff that we thought we could not put in words.  So when it comes along those songs do us a favour.  We sing those songs, and in the words of an X-Factor/American Idol/Britain’s Got Talent/whatever you wanna call it show – we make it our own.  It is our own.  It is our devotion.  It is our love song.

I don’t know of anyone worth singing a love song to more than God.  I want to be where He is. I want to be where He is and be with Him and have Him with me.  This song was someone’s song, but in the passionate pursity of Christ, this is my song – my love song to the Lord.
