I came across the Commissioned song quite a few years ago and have loved it ever since. Taking a classic hymn and turning it into a heartfelt ballad to God to be drawn nearer – that’s what it’s got to be about right – drawn closer to Christ, knowing Him in His suffering, knowing Him in His death, knowing Him in His resurrection.
Then I came across this gospel choral effort this week and it was all rocking and rolling all over again, and so let’s get back to the core and make the daily request to be drawn closer.
