So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do. (1 Peter 2:7, 8 )
Everything of value and meaning in life is built on faith in Jesus Christ.
Where He maybe an obstacle to some; where it might be hard to accept Him for who He is, the beginning of understanding begins with Him.
In pursuing Him we discover He is the foundation, the crucial part of the building project on which everything stands.
It is only fitting that though He was rejected, He is now the very core of the eternal and those who believe in Him enjoy the hope of the true and lasting building project.
