Jesus Is … The Door

I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. (John 10:9)

‘When one door shuts, another opens’.

So often those pursuing places of peace try so many doors that only end in brick walls. Doors of legalism or doors of liberalism both end up the same way. Jesus makes the extraordinary and yet indisputable claim that to be saved – that is to be rescued from these dead ends – and to find peace and sustenance, provision to enjoy every day life, He is the only access.

So as dead end doors shut, here’s hoping that the door to life will be opened for those seeking to find ready access.
