Jesus Is … Love

Following the recent blog on this month’s endeavour this is possibly the most important aspect of who Jesus is.  When I think about who God is, the overwhelming element is His holiness and I don’t see that as being any different where Jesus is concerned and yet what attracts us closer to Him is His love.  Jesus’ sacrifice is an act of love.  His relations with disciples, strangers and even his enemies is motivated by obedience in love.  That’s why this season and the life of any follower of His must above all be marked out by His love.

For His Name’s Sake

  1. I was at the last membership group meeting at Rising Brook church last night. Martin Young emphasised the importance of the great command and the great commission in the ethos of the church. He said the most important work in the great command is LOVE and the most important word in the great commission is GO. That is what the church seeks to do. Thank you for emphasising this in your blog CD. Peace to you <
