Later on today I’ll write in more detail about the day today. Just to say it is my birthday. 33 years old today. There has to be some perks to your birthday when you hit a certain age. No more is it about the parties and possibly even the cards. Now you look for other benefits and one of mine is being able to post again important blogs. It doesn’t get more important than this.
Andrae Crouch, Fred Hammond, John P Kee, Keith Green and Walter Hawkins would stake a claim to be huge innovators and influences on my music experience. They have written and produced songs that have blessed my soul, challenged my faith and built my love for the Lord and that impact on the rest of my life.
Yet there is one song that I would probably use to define me even more than My Tribute, You Are The Living Word, We Walk By Faith, To Obey Is Better Than Sacrifice, My Gratitude and other greats of my time.
This is that song.
It still sends shivers down my spine recalling what I gave Him and what He turned around and gave me and from Bebe at the beginning to Marvin Winans in the reprise, this is a quite brilliant song and speaks the truth that sums up the truth, love, justice, mercy, grace and majesty of God. He stilll turns around and gives those who follow abundant life.
