Fads and trends are not something I want to be caught up in. I recall hearing the phrase ‘the move of God’ sometime used to explain the flavour of the month which may very well have had some positive effects, but more often than not just was a lot of hot air with little in the way of substantial character transformation into the character of Christ.
I am aware of how attractive some fads and trends can appear to be especially if endorsed by big Christian personalities. I reckon, however, it’s the responsibility of communities of grace and individuals therein to take the discerning deal seriously and look to hold onto that which is true.
That being said, although what the video refers to is hardly a new trend or a fad, it is important to check the claims for yourself and come to your own conclusions. I thought it was interesting to post just to consider as an alternative.
