Yeah it was last Saturday, but apparently England are playing again, even as I type this, not that I am in anyway influenced by the game or it is in anyway distracting. (Come on England, surely you can get your act together better than this. Where’s the talisman Rooney? Why don’t England retain the ball better?)
I am writing this whilst watching the match with the sound a bit down so I don’t have to take the ITV commentary whilst taking the analysis from Radio 5Live. It’s this that forms the basis of what I’m about to blog about.
I love the radio commentary from 5Live usually, and I started with the excellent commentary of Mike Ingham who was fairly opinionated, but at least committed to giving an overview of what was going on. Alan Green came on though and was very negative and almost cantankerous in his criticism. Now sure england aren’t playing great, but it comes to the point of what I’m talking about.
Things are not going as planned in life, what’s the point in finding fault? What’s the point in looking at negative? It is typical, I think of a certain mentality that has certain expectations that when you don’t meet up to those expectations, or when you’re not looking as you should that it’s time to come down heavily on the transgressors. That’s not helpful or constructive though and another way has to be found as the healthy alternative to finding fault.
For His Name’s Sake
